Pro-1 Spare Parts and Accessories

Finally! After three long three years of design effort we have developed a new process for the manufacture of our Keytips. We are very pleased to announce our new fully machine "Precision Style Keytips." These keytips are interchangeable with all Pro-1 products in the field, and greatly surpass the Keytips we originally made by the "Cast and Machine" process.

Due to the tighter tolerance and runout control possible in a one step machining process you will find that these new tips allow for more rapid picking, complete bi-directional picking, and create more positive feedback to the locksmith.

At the same time we are announcing a new Keytip for the smaller 0.340 diameter (Tiny) locks found in some vending machines, gambling machines, and in Masterlock's new bicycle locks.

We are proud to announce the new Octagon Keytips. The "Unpickable" claim made by some locksmiths about this unique and well made security styled lock needs to be revised to: "Unpickable to all those except those who own a Peterson Pro-1 tubular lockpick." We believe that we make the only lockpick that opens "Octagon" style locks.

Wouldn't it be nice if all locks faced up for easy picking?  Here is a practice stand that is perfect for developing your skill with the Pro-1.  Learn the different actions of various locks in a comfortable posture before advancing to "real life".  This stand can be held upright is a vise for advanced practice.

Spare Wires: $30.00

These Probes have flat ground ends.  With use the ends tend to round off eventually encouraging the probe end to slide off of the top pin.

Due to damage or to wear, We encourage our customers to have a spare set of probes on hand!

.380 -7 Pin Keytip: $40.00

This Precision Style Keytip opens the normal sized seven pin locks. 

Remember - when picking the Fort Apex lock:

  - Odd number pins pick twice.

  - Even number pins pick once.

These pins become pickable in whatever order they want; use your knurled nuts to track your picking operations.

.380 - 8 Pin Keytip:  $40.00

This Precision Style Keytip opens the 8 pin locks, and the 7 left and 7 right configurations.  Use the extra wire probe located in your Pro-1 case for 8 pin configurations, and just move one of the probes over for the left and right configurations.

DN-7 Pin Keytip:  $40.00

This Precision Style Keytip fits the "American Brand Padlock".  This exceptional lock has flat topped pins that make picking an exact science.  This Keytip fits the lock securely to give you the success you deserve.

.360 - 7 Pin Keytip:  $40.00

The Precision Style Keytip for this 0.360 diameter lock is quite often found in the "Kryptonite" brand family of locks.  In this diameter we only offer the 7 - pin tip as we have never seen a 8 - pin lock of this size.  Show us an 8 - pin lock and we will make the key-tip for it!

Finally, a tip for the Pro-1 that allows the locksmith to open that pesky "un-open-able" Octagon cam lock. Just another example of the versatility of our Pro-1 tubular picking system.

KK - 7 Pin Keytip:  $40.00  

The Precision Style Keytip is for Kryptonite's "KK" and other's very small configuration found a lot on gambling equipment, and "gumball machines," and the new mini bike lock made by MasterLock.  This is the smallest tip we have made to date.
